After graduation, I attended Northern Montana College
for a year in the nursing program.
After college, I moved back to Libby and met my husband while
working at the forest service.
I was married to Orville King on April 1, 1979
in Walla Walla, Washington and have enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 26
years. We had our first
child in 1980, a daughter Mandi, and were blessed to have Orville’s 5
year old son come and live with us in 1981.
Our son Josh was born in 1982 and we thought our family was
complete. We then had a
wonderful surprise in 1995 with the birth of our last child, Isaac.
He keeps us young and on the ball and I am enjoying doing the
school and sports things with him.
We decided to make a move to Oregon in 1984 where we stayed for
17 years. I have worked in
several different jobs over the years including nurse’s aide, cook,
teacher’s aide, plasma cutter at an aluminum boat factory, golf course
maintenance, administrative assistant and presently am a stay at home
Mom with my 10 year old son Isaac.
My husband works for Bureau of Land Management for the Alaska
Fire Service in Fairbanks, Alaska.
I have 2 granddaughters with another coming in
July. Am going to hopefully
be there for her arrival the middle of July when Isaac and I will be
traveling to Alaska.
We moved back to Libby
in the summer of 2002 and really have
enjoyed being back home.
